Nancy And The Silver Balls Request

Yes, that is my reflection in a larger silver sphere.

Last night my travelling companion showed me a picture of a grouping of such spheres and asked me if I knew where in Paris they were. I didn't. I googled silver spheres and other such circular names and finally opted to ask about silver balls and buildings in Paris. Turns out they were installed in the Palais Royal. "That's odd. I walked through there with my Mom and don't recall ever seeing them." I must have been distracted by the shops.

But Nancy had a feeling she could take an amazing architecturally pleasing photo there, so it went on today's long tour guide list. I think we walked 15K today.

Unfortunately for us (well not me because it wasn't my idea) Nancy ran into French construction. The main building reflecting into the spheres is all walled up...so the reflection on one side is pretty plain. She opted to photograph it anyway and I am sure she came out with several amazing shots. I spent my time trying to catch my reflection and recorded this short video below so that you would see that the spheres are actually moving in water too.
