There is a new cotton grocery bag in my stash. I have a chance to show off my new puppy Magnus when I am out and about running errands.
I created this image in Photoshop by taking one of his pictures and editing out the background. I was then able to place him on this cycle.
My project was inspired by this t-shirt I photographed in Paris last month. How I loved it! I am going to try and get a side portrait of Magnus so I can make it look like he's driving too.
After printing the image on cotton I decided to make a bag as opposed to a t-shirt. A t-shirt would never survive regular washings. These type of projects only look great the first time you wear them
...and then they start to fade and cotton tends to shrink over subsequent washing. The crystals I used just need to be heat set. I think they made the bike look very pretty.
Now that I have the bag, I must say I still want a t-shirt. I think I will try a transfer technique next. This is an image of Magnus I will use for a little while!
